For those of you who remember the ClanTrakker at ARC Squared, here's the MCS listing for 2Cool written in the middle of year 2000.

For those who never knew the Square or ClanTrakker, MCS stands for Major Clan System... the top group of clans that are league candidates, hold the top talent, are the most recognized, etc etc.

History: 2Cool was founded on February 16th, 2000 by LoboNetwork and Chinadian. One of the first clans produced on the switch to WON, it has risen to become arguably the most successful WON startup clan. The clan was initially taken very lightly and categorized as a newbie startup clan that wouldn't last. However, taking control of the clan, LoboNetwork built a roster of mostly WONite pilots and shaped them to become a formidable group. Sporting good organization, devoted leadership, and increasingly talented pilots, 2Cool has joined the core group of ARC clans in record time.

Trakker Analysis: The word is out that 2Cool has become more than just a startup clan. Recently, the clan switched recruitment status to invite only, a drastic jump from the initial "who wants to join 2Cool" chat spamming. And while the clan is enjoying its current success, the questioning of how 2Cool stacks up to the competition has not subsided. With a roster of mostly WONite pilots, the clan only has the potential to improve in talent, yet there is still a long road to travel. 

The key to league success is practice. It's questionable if any of 2Cool's pilots have any APL experience, a major setback considering the APL has since crowned 3 different champions and hosted over 100 league matches. With the hopeful arrival of private servers, expect LoboNetwork to establish practice sessions, as he has proven to be one of the most dedicated and structured leaders in the system. Yet despite the need for practice, 2Cool needs to recruit at least two major fraggers to balance their inexperienced roster. Without some major firepower in 2Cool's league squad, the clan will be easily trodden upon by even the mid-range major clans.

While the task of creating a startup clan to compete favorably in the APL is a daunting one, 2Cool has set the stage to make it happen. The organization of the clan is outstanding, with membership guidelines, application forms, and a nicely done, updated website. Membership to 2Cool should certainly yield a lot of ups and downs, however the potential reward for being a part of the clan is tremendous. But don't let the fact that 2Cool is a WON startup escape you. There is a long road to travel still and everything in the world to prove. As of yet, they've managed only to establish themselves, nothing more.
