Our original guestbook was buggy for spam. I've locked postability on it and made it read-only! I've made this topic and people can leave comments attached to this as if it were a Guestbook.
I'll start by saying, welcome to the CaDF Website! Look forward to facing you people on ARC.
You will require to get a user account to leave a comment on our new guestbook.

Community Unites?

I think I posted this on ARC-HQ forums a while back...but wouldn't it be cool if there is another game exactly like ARC out there that we don't know about? This game would have its own commmunity and its own top clans and somewhere down the line we find out about each other. So both of these communities establish a rivalry and determine which community has the best "ARCers." This would be an interesting twist to the current state of ARC where you feel like you're facing the same ARCers over and over again, league after league. Eventually we field some players to go up against their players in a series of playoff games that alternate between our front end and their front end. It would also be interesting to see what kind of strategies a whole different community would establish and see how it compares to ours. Battling it out against a completely unknown team from a different community would not only draw a lot of interest but would unite this community as well. Alas, it is just something for me to write about out of boredom while at work.

Breaking the habit

You get up in the morning. Get ready for school or work, go to either and come back home after a tough day. Go to the gym, return back... fit eating in there a couple of times, perhaps some ARC. Some would think that is a vicious cycle. Many people are in it but alas, it's real life. A more lethal cycle occurs in ARC. Ten years of ARC, I've seen many things. Particularly during the APL season: teams form, play the season, disbands shortly after. Players spread throughout ARC only to later be reunited with perhaps another name for another season. It never fails to stop. Claiming that this time is different, oh no.. they are more genuine...i swear! I cant even count the amount of times that i have heard all the excuses and reasonings behind it on my fingers. Just another temporary high. I'm sure some of you realize it through each phase of the experience. What drives you to believe things will be different? I dont buy "bonds being great". Dont get me wrong, there obviously is something there to keep the habit going. Year after year though, its the same damn thing.... Friends or not, please, dont kid yourselves. Every ARCer has to have some hope that everything will work out, regardless of what that is, so good luck. Please prove me wrong...Prove me wrong.
"I dont want to be the one, The battles always choose 'Cause inside I realize That I'm the one confused.
I don't know what's worth fighting for Or why I have to scream I don't know why I instigate And say what I don't mean I don't know how I got this way I'll never be alright So, I'm breaking the habit I'm breaking the habit Tonight"

Friendships

Friends, they can put aside differences to make things work. Some would keep things bottled up inside. I prefer just telling the truth, hate it or love it. True friends should never get truly offended. It may lower the "friendship" bar but it should always bounce back to normal quickly. People dont realize that in picking the name, "LoboNetwork", the Network was chosen because of my wide networking ability. I say what people, even your closest friends, fear to say. Sometimes you believe your friends are perfect and everything is harmonious when the reality is that every one of your friends thinks the same way I do, if not worse. How do I know? Networking. They are just able to brush it off, put things aside... Partially because they fear of getting on your "bad side". Also, you are actually an interesting and fun person so even though there are some shady characteristics and a continous cycle you appear to be trapped in, the overall benefits of a friendship with you outweight the risks and drawbacks.
