I think I posted this on ARC-HQ forums a while back...but wouldn't it be cool if there is another game exactly like ARC out there that we don't know about? This game would have its own commmunity and its own top clans and somewhere down the line we find out about each other. So both of these communities establish a rivalry and determine which community has the best "ARCers." This would be an interesting twist to the current state of ARC where you feel like you're facing the same ARCers over and over again, league after league. Eventually we field some players to go up against their players in a series of playoff games that alternate between our front end and their front end. It would also be interesting to see what kind of strategies a whole different community would establish and see how it compares to ours. Battling it out against a completely unknown team from a different community would not only draw a lot of interest but would unite this community as well. Alas, it is just something for me to write about out of boredom while at work.

I dont know if that has anything to do with this topic! But I can agree with "Winning against the odds" at least from historic sense.

Winning against the odds. Piling up the score so the competitor won’t try again. Demoralizing competitors so they give up. Those are the jobs of CaDF. It may not be pretty, but that is the sum and substance of demoralizing compertitors.

That idea is wicked! There used to be games just like ARC... I remember back in the mid 2Cool days.. A couple of us 2Cool stumbled upon some french ARC-like game. The community there was deserted but apparently the server was not. Kama, Grazen, China, DM, myself and a few others went into the server and played around in it... And to our surprise.. Something came ater us!!! Was a bot... a bot that had god mode... came out of no where and started owning the hell out of us. It was like a space-exploration gone bad. Ah, Good times.
